Zoe Reel Crane
Reel had some real stats last season for Crane Pirates. With 409 kills, 28 blocks, 260 digs, 34 aces, and .315% hitting percentage, she was the leader for the Pirates. Look for Reel to step up this year to do more damage at the net. Season-high 26 kills twice last year. Reel also averaged 19 points in basketball.
Emma Siron Sacred Heart Sedalia
This 5’6 dynamite had an outstanding stat line last year 332 kills, 56 blocks, 72 aces, .251% hitting percentage, and 191 assist. She’ll be looked at to guide the Gremlins to another playoff run. A season-high 20 kills in a match last year.
Reese Gray Lesterville
5’8 outside hitter for the Bearcats came on strong in the playoffs. 321 kills, hit .262%, 18 blocks, 401 digs, 37 aces, 508 serve receptions on the year. Season-high of 24 digs in her second high school game and season-high 23 kills in the state quarterfinals. Basketball averaged a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Maya Watkins Maya Watkins 5'10" | OH East Buchanan | 2023 State MO East Buchanan
5’8 outside hitter finished her freshman season with 276 kills, 11 blocks, 266 digs, and 46 aces. Season-high 18 kills in the district finals.
Summer Kenney Stockton
The outside/setter for the Tigers had a great freshman year. With 237 kills, 15 blocks, 266 digs, and 40 aces was a key player for the Tigers push in the playoff run last year. Season-high 13 kills last year. Look for big things from Summer this season.
Katie Myers Conway
Bears had a solid freshman in Myers last year. With 17 blocks, 50 aces, 208 digs, 209 assists, and 226 kills, Myers was a stats stuffer for her team. With a season-high 16 kills, 20 digs, and 16 assists, Myers has the potential to have monster stats every game.
Calissa Minatee Calissa Minatee 6'0" | MB North Kansas City | 2023 State #25 Nation MO North Kansas City
5-11 Hornet will be a game-changer in the next couple of years. She’s battling it out against the Class 4 Kansas City schools and puts up great numbers. The hitting percentage is outstanding and needs more balls if you can hit .508%! Add 224 kills, 42 solo blocks, and 36 aces you got a nice middle coming up. Season-high 14 kills on 21 attempts.
Lexi Menne Windsor
The 5-5 outside hitter came on strong at the end of the season for the Owls. 202 kills and 198 digs to send the season. A season-high 12 kills and 15 digs. Owls will rely on Menne a lot more this season for the Owls.
Anna Harrold Lawson
The Cardinals return a solid Harrold for her sophomore year. The 5’10 outside will look to add to her 200 kills, 30 blocks, 295 digs, 32 aces, and .269% hitting percentage. Season-high 13 kills should become more a norm for her in her second season.
Ashlyn Bellamy Ashlyn Bellamy 6'1" | OH Lee's Summit | 2023 State MO Lee’s Summit
Bellamy returns for a sophomore year looking to improve on a solid freshman campaign. With 200 kills, hit .281%, 31 blocks, 344 digs, and 31 aces, she had a solid start to her career. With a season-high 13 kills and notched a season-high 16 digs on several occasions, Bellamy can do it all. She’s coached by one of the best, so we know she’s going to improve.
Isabel Day Isabel Day 5'9" | DS/L Park Hill South | 2023 State MO Park Hill South
Day comes from a long line of newcomers to play at the traditional rich volleyball school. Last year was no different. With 195 kills, 322 digs, Isabel Day Isabel Day 5'9" | DS/L Park Hill South | 2023 State MO had a solid season. With five games as the team kill leader and seven as the digs leader, she was a game-changer. Seasons highs for kills was 19 and digs was 20.
