Prep “Dig For a Cause” Set For October 5 at PDFL
One of the highlights for most teams each fall is when they are able to dedicate a night for a cause that helps an organization or a family within their community. Whether it’s raising money or awareness teams find a way to give back.
With no fall season, teams will not have a chance to have the “traditional” night of honoring their cause. We will Prep “Dig For a Cause” for the Prep Dig Fall League on Monday, October 5. We are encouraging teams to wear pink that night or if you have team shirts or jerseys from a cause that they have played for in the past, go for it!
Prep Dig will team up with HOPE Cancer Connection of the Fox Valley. HOPE is an organization that serves cancer survivors with education, support groups, and outreach to health care facilities and families through their cancer treatment and recovery.

“HOPE Cancer Connection is a 100% volunteer organization which was created in 2011 to support Fox Valley families who are going through cancer. Our goal is to be “Switzerland” in the valley and support all the families who enter through the doors of each cancer center daily. Our main outreach to the area is our website that provides safe information on local resources and support. We also highlight articles, blogs and devotions to help people on the cancer journey. Our free survivorship program, A Time To Heal, is a 12 week evidence-based program that helps survivors and their caregiver to recover mentally and physically after cancer. The program is open to individuals from all health systems in the valley. We work closely with each health system to communicate their latest educational classes, support groups and opportunities for those seeking prevention or support.
