Here’s a look at the top five middles from the 2020 Lady Lions Invitational.
Caroline Adkins: A junior middle hitter, Adkins continues to help pace Greenup County. Through six matches in the 2020 high school volleyball season, Adkins has posted 56 kills, 6 blocks, 12 digs and 6 service aces. Underrated, Adkins is a consistent hitter who possesses solid jumping abilities.
Audrey Biggs: A freshman middle blocker, Biggs has developed into a leader for 16th Region title contender Boyd County. Through six matches, Biggs has recorded 35 kills, 24 blocks, 3 assists and 8 digs. Biggs leads Boyd County in blocks. One of the top young players in Northeastern Kentucky, Biggs is agile and an exceptional blocker.
Hailey Little Hailey Little MB Paintsville | 2023 State KY : A sophomore middle blocker, Little helped to lead Paintsville to the 2020 Lady Lions Invitational. Paintsville has claimed back-to-back Lady Lions Invitational titles. Through six matches in the 2020 high school volleyball season, Little has posted 68 kills, 12 blocks, 8 digs and 10 service aces. Little leads Paintsville in kills and continues to dominate at the net.
Blair Ratliff: A sophomore middle hitter/right side hitter, Ratliff helped to pace Paintsville throughout the latest Lady Lions Invitational. A force along the middle of the net, Ratliff has logged 34 kills and 11 blocks in Paintsville’s first six matches in 2020. Among the key players for 15th Region championship contender Paintsville, Ratliff landed 11 kills in a Lady Lions Invitational title match triumph over host Boyd County.
Emma Sparks: A sophomore middle blocker/defensive specialist, Sparks is a versatile performer for Boyd County. Through the Lady Lions’ first six matches in 2020, Sparks has amassed 46 kills, 10 blocks, 2 assists, 54 digs and 9 service aces. Sparks leads Boyd County in kills. With a diverse skill set, Sparks excels both offensively and defensively.
