Francis McBride leaves Class 1 power, Winona, for Branson and has them in a position to win a district title. The semifinal should be a quick win for Branson to move to the finals.
Semifinals
1 Branson High School 17-11-1
4 Monett High School 2-12
Branson with a 3-0 sweep.
Neosho has won both match-ups so far this year. Going on a limb and saying the third time is the charm for McDonald County and winning this one 3-1.
3 McDonald County High School 17-13
2 Neosho High School 14-14-1
McDonald County with a 3-1 win.
Finals
1 Branson High School 17-11-1
3 McDonald County High School 17-13
Here is where a tough schedule will help prepare you for the playoffs. Branson played one better, and it shows. With Morgan LeBlanc and Emily Prosser just too much to handle at the net, Branson cruises to the district title 3-0.
District 12 Prediction: Harrisonville Champions
Semifinals
2 Belton High School 10-14-1
3 Grandview High School 2-14-1
Belton with the 3-0 sweep.
1 Harrisonville High School 10-10
4 Ruskin High School 1-10
Not real familiar with any of these teams, but after a little research, I’ve concluded this is Harrisonville’s to lose. After a 2-1 25-23, 17-25, 25-19 win over Belton already, I’m sticking with Harrisonville moving on with a 3-1 decision.
Finals
1 Harrisonville High School 10-10
2 Belton High School 10-14-1
Harrisonville for a 3-1 final victory. Rylee Smalley and Kennedy Smalley can’t be stopped by the Pirates in this match up.
