Whether they have made a splash the past year at club events, Prep Dig Showcases/Tournaments, or the high school season we know they will be impact players and fun to watch compete among the best. This is a group of top notch setters who are on the college radar of plenty with not only how they run the show and set, but how they command the floor. We will be featuring different athletes and positions leading up to the Wisconsin Top 250.
Sydney Lewellin Sydney Lewellin S Lake Mills | 2022 State WI – Class of 2022
Lake Mills – Milwaukee Sting
Extremely scrappy, passionate, and just a gritty athlete who can do a little bit of everything. Lewellin may be a setter on the court, but she is just an overall athlete who can do anything her team needs her. She attacks with her left hand on the right side, defends extremely well, and run the show.

Madison La Follette – Capital
When Ammeraal enters the front row, it puts so much pressure on the defense. She played in Prep Dig Fall Events with Madtown 2022’s where she is a 5’11 setter who can jump and attack with the left hand and just tear apart a defense. She is another athlete who can do a variety of positive things for her side and has a great blend of physicality and finesse to her game.

Emma Johnson Emma Johnson 5'10" | S Luxemburg-Casco | 2022 State WI – Class of 2022
Luxemburg-Casco – FC Elite
The progress that Johnson has made in the past year has been astounding. She is rising to be one of the top pure setters in her class with her ability to get the ball from pin to pin, set the slide incredibly well and has become more offensive and physical at the net. She is leading one of the top offenses in D2 with Luxemburg-Casco where they will compete in sectionals this Thursday night.
Rachel Koss Rachel Koss 5'11" | S Freedom | 2023 State WI – Class of 2023
Freedom – FC Elite
Koss commands the court and brings her side together. She knows how to run a variety of tempos and her body language and energy on the court is contagious in the most positive way. She has been an important part of the rise in the Freedom volleyball program who won their first regional title.

Verona – Milwaukee Sting
So smooth! Schultz played with the “Wildcats” in the Prep Dig Fall League which was comprised of athletes from Verona. Her athleticism along with her smooth release to get the ball to the pin was done with ease. She is the type of setter who can run the show and really do some creative things to get the ball to her hitters.
Elise Gillen Elise Gillen 5'9" | S Slinger | 2022 State WI – Class of 2022
Slinger – Wisconsin Premier
Gillen popped on the radar last spring before quarantine where she played a huge part in the success of Wisconsin Premier and their 16 Teal squad earning a bid to Nationals. She is now running the show at Slinger and are causing quite the stir with some upsets in their postseason run to the sectional tournament. She can put the ball on the money and even score herself if needed.
Elena Dragani Elena Dragani S Catholic Memorial | 2023 State WI – Class of 2023
Catholic Memorial – Milwaukee Sting
Dragani is part of a power packed lineup at Catholic Memorial and will most likely be the next setter with Lily Lutz Lily Lutz S Catholic Memorial | 2022 State WI having a dynamite Junior year for CMH. She can defend and do what it take to help her team. Dragani also has an older sister, Caroline, who plays at Portland State.
