Here are four 13th Region freshmen to watch.
Darcie Anderson: A Whitley County outside hitter, Anderson was a key player for her squad throughout the 2020 high school volleyball season. Anderson recorded 77 kills, 85 digs, 13 assists and 12 service aces in 16 matches for the Colonels. A strong hitter from the left side, Anderson delivers along both the front row and the back row.
Isabella Frost: A Knox Central freshman middle hitter, Frost gained valuable experience during the 2020 high school volleyball season. Frost thrived in the middle for Knox Central during the 2020 season, recording 33 blocks, 29 kills and 10 digs. A talented young prep volleyball player, Frost led Knox Central in blocks.
Alyssa Mounce: A Lynn Camp freshman outside hitter, Mounce helped her team capture the 2020 13th Region All ‘A’ Classic championship. In her first 19 matches for Lynn Camp during the 2020 high school volleyball season, Mounce has registered 23 kills and 6 blocks. Mounce blocks consistently, both individually and with teammates.
Aubrey Woolum: A Barbourville freshman outside hitter, Woolum moved into a key role for her team during the 2020 high school volleyball season. Woolum recorded 44 kills, 118 digs and 26 service aces in 18 matches for Barbourville during the 2020 campaign. The Barbourville freshman makes challenging digs routinely.
