are all hitting above .300. They pushed Class B #2 ranked Norris to three sets earlier this week. Malcolm (19-6) is on a run after winning the ECNC Tournament last week. Kiley Elkins is in the top 5 in the class for kills/set. Keep an eye on a much improved Raymond Central squad.
C1-3 - Omaha Roncalli, Louisville, Conestoga, Boys Town
Look for Roncalli (12-9) to push for the subdistrict win. The Crimson Pride are hitting at .312 as a team with senior
Claire WilsonClaireWilson5'10" | DS/LOmaha Roncalli | 2021NE
at #2 in the class with .428 and senior Ella Mathies and junior Libby Hubschmann above .300 as well. Although no teams are in the top 16 in wild card points in this district, Roncalli’s schedule includes 5 level 1 teams and 6 level 2 teams.
C1-4 - Wahoo*, Douglas County West, Bishop Neumann, Fort Calhoun, Omaha Concordia
As a perennial powerhouse, Wahoo (27-0) is one of two undefeated teams in Class C1 going into the postseason. Look for senior setter and USC recruit Elle Glock and junior
Mya LarsonMyaLarson5'11" | OHWahoo | 2022StateNE
to work their magic in their last few high school games playing together. Glock leads Class C1 with 10.9 assists/set. Larson, an uncommitted junior, is the complete package. Seniors Kelsie Sears and
Lauren KavanLaurenKavan5'7" | OHWahoo | 2021StateNE
and junior Taylor Luben add to the Warrior depth. Douglas County West (19-10) has pushed many teams this season with a big block from 6’3 freshman
Nora WurtzNoraWurtz6'2" | MBDC West | 2024StateNE
and a scrappy defense to keep the ball from hitting the floor.
C1-5 - Oakland-Craig*, West Point-Beemer, North Bend Central, Arlington, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder
Up from Class C2 last season, Oakland-Craig (20-6), hot off a big win over Clakson/Leah (20-6 in C2), will be challenged by West Point-Beemer (20-8) and North Bend Central (15-11) for the sub-district championship. Oakland-Craig owns two wins over West Point-Beemer and split with North Bend Central. West Point-Beemer has beat North Bend Central twice this season.
C1-6 - Wayne*, Battle Creek*, Pierce, Homer, Winnebago
Wayne (22-7, 43.7931) and Battle Creek (19-8, 43.6667) are neck and neck going into postseason play. Wayne won the battle on October 15, 3-0. The teams match up very evenly. Wayne Senior Lauren Pick and Nebraska Wesleyan recruit carries much of the load and leads Class C1 with 6.2 kills/set. Battle Creek Senior
BriAnna ZohnerBriAnnaZohner5'10" | OHBattle Creek | 2021StateNE
isn’t far behind with 5.4 kills/set.
C1-7 - Columbus Lakeview*, David City, Columbus Scotus, Boone Central
Going into the season Lakeview Coach K.C. Belitz knew he had something special in a dark horse kind of way. Lakeview (24-5) went 22-11 last season and has won those few extra games this season to set itself up as a force to be reckoned with. Senior

was a good addition to the team this season and averages 5.0 digs/set. Keep an eye on David City (21-8) that has won 17 out of its last 18 games and the SNC Tournament championship.
C1-8 - St. Paul*, Grand Island Central Catholic*, Doniphan-Trumbull, Central City
St. Paul (27-0, #2 in wild card points) was runner up in Class C1 last season and is the other undefeated team, but Grand Island Central Catholic (23-2, #3 in WC points) took home the gold in Class C2. This subdistrict final has state tournament game written all over it! Both teams will advance to district finals.
C1-9 - Kearney Catholic*, Adams Central*, Hastings St. Cecelia*, Minden, Gibbon
With the most teams in the top 16 in the sub, Adams Central (19-10) and Hastings St. Cecelia (23-8) are not guaranteed a spot in a district final without outright wins in the subs. After winning a tough Centennial Conference Tournament Championship, Kearney Catholic (26-5) has lost its last two contests to very good teams in Broken Bow and Overton.
Ashley KeckAshleyKeck5'9" | OHKearney Catholic | 2022StateNE
leads the Stars with 4.2 kills/set with Sydney Conner setting evenly to other hitters Jill Collins, Bailey Spangler, and

.
C1-10 - Broken Bow*, Ord, O’Neill, Ainsworth, Valentine
And coach Skylar Morris thought the Indians might have a down year… Broken Bow (24-3) reloaded this season and has won 22 straight, including solid wins over Lincoln Lutheran, Wayne, Kearney Catholic, and Mullen. With junior sisters Kya (hitter) and Kailyn (setter) Scott as returning starters, Bow added Kali Staples and Emma Schall in the front row and Cami Schweitzer and Emma Taylor to the back row. Also keep an eye on 20-8 Ord.
C1-11 - Gothenburg, Hershey, Chase County, Cozad
Another sub without a top 16 team, but Gothenburg (19-10) and Hershey (15-7) are neck and neck in points.
C1-12 - Sidney*, Ogallala*, Chadron, Mitchell
All familiar foes, Sidney (23-5) down from Class B last season, and Ogallala (19-10) have split and hold wins over the rest.
