The Olathe Northwest Ravens finished up a solid season by placing second in the 6A State Tournament at Tony’s Event Center in Salina.

A well-balanced Ravens squad overcame a Round Robin loss to Washburn Rural to beat the Junior Blues in the semifinals after being down a set. However, they fell to rival Blue Valley Northwest in straight sets 21-25 and 17-25

OH, Courtney BeersCourtneyBeers5'8" | OHOlathe Northwest | 2021StateKS, 5’8” (’21 Ranked No. 41) – Beers has a huge reach and is a smart player. She is committed to playing at Kansas Wesleyan University after graduation.  Beers is just an all-around player. She did not lead the Ravens in any of the major stats, but the team leaned on her during crucial moments.

S, Courtney JacksonCourtneyJackson5'9" | SOlathe Northwest | 2021StateKS, 5’9” (’21 Ranked No. 7) – Jackson has committed to play for the University of Arkansas and the Razorbacks will be getting a solid talent. She has quick hands and really understands how to run an offense. Jackson had 660 assists to rank among the leaders in Class 6A.
