Kellee Ann Greene – St. Teresa’s Academy
Greene has put forth a solid first half of the season playing a tough schedule. She has been on fire as of late with 46 kills in her last three matches. On the season in 28 sets played she has registered 87 kills at a .386 clip. Defensively, she has 30 blocks for the 5-4 Stars.
Hannah Graves – Park Hill High School
As mentioned previously, Graves has been a staple in the Trojans lineup since midway through her freshman year. She has always been among the best blockers in the state and continues that reputation with 43 total blocks. She has great speed and reaction at the net. Offensively, she has contributed 71 kills and a team-leading 21 aces.
Paige Huhman Paige Huhman MB Lee's Summit North | 2021 State MO – Lee’s Summit North High School
Lee’s Summit North is having a rough go at things at the midway point with a 2-10 record. They haven’t posted stats on-line but there are a few matches available thanks to live stream. Huhman has been one of the bright spots for the Broncos this season. She continues to show her versatility by being able to hit from numerous locations. She has been a consistent offensive threat with her swings and tips.
Kendall Boone – Lee’s Summit High School
Boone is having a strong season for the 6-3 Tigers of Lee’s Summit. She has earned double-digit kills in her last three outings and averaging just over 3 1/2 kills per set in her final campaign. She has 90 kills on the season and has shown the ability to play defense adding 69 digs.
Jada Davis – Staley High School
Staley has been well lately and Davis continues to be a key piece to the success. She continues to be steady on the offensive side of the net with 65 kills, good enough for third on the team. On the defensive side, she has always been a solid blocker and continues to show such by sending back 32 balls, 11 of those being in the solo fashion.
New names having a solid 2020 campaign,
Abby Massengill – Lee’s Summit West High School
Massengill has on 24 sets via statistics but has made the most of those opportunities in 2020. She has stepped into the second scorer role for the Titans. She is averaging 2 1.2 kills per set for 59 on the year. She has double-digit kills in 4 of the 5 matches listed, with 9 in the other match.
Katie Kasten – Smithville High School
The Smithville senior is having a final year to remember. Kasten, the 6’0″ middle is making a name for herself this fall. She currently sits at 131 kills and hitting at a .378 percentage. She has also shown she can be a force with her defense, adding 35 total blocks. She moves well and should jump on the radar for some local coaches.
