Maddy Nelson – Pleasant Hill High School
We previously had Nelson on our list as right sides this summer. We mentioned her earlier this week as an addition to the outside list, forgetting where we listed her. Oops. Nonetheless, she has 126 kills and 115 digs.
Nina Passantino – St. Pius X High School
Passantino is another player who could probably be listed as an OH. We did move some players to the opposite pin in order to add them to our list. The 5’9″ senior is having a solid final season for the Warriors. She has 70 kills on the year including a season-high of ten kills in her last outing.
J’Nai Moultrie – Liberty High School
Moultrie has been smooth and steady for the Blue Jays this fall. She has elevated her game this fall as a solid scoring option. Her hitting percentage is way up from a year ago. Right now she has 67 kills and hitting over 250.
Alie Aiona – Park Hill High School
Aiona is on pace to match her average numbers in kills over the last two seasons. She has 71 currently and had 95 the previous two seasons. She continues to be a strong blocking presence on the right side with 34 blocks on the year.
Ainslee Stepp – Staley High School
Staley is having a good season with strong senior leadership. Steep is having arguably her best in the green and white. In years previously she’s had to split time on the right and setting but not this year. She has 113 kills and 144 digs in 50 sets, while also proving to be strong in passing.
