While there was lots of fluctuation in the updated 2021 rankings list, there were seven athletes that made HUGE jumps from where they were to where they are ranked now. And only two of these seniors are committed to a school for the fall of 2021.
Amanda Henry Amanda Henry 5'11" | OH Jesuit | 2021 State OR , 5’11”, OH, Jesuit High School, Athena Volleyball Academy

Henry had a breakout season for the Jesuit High School Crusaders and was vital to their success, helping them secure a 6A State championship. One of their all-around outside hitters, she was a go-to attacker for the team, racking up 192 kills last season. She is incredibly quick and transitions to attack well. Her arm swing is fast and explosive. Her ball control is continuing to improve, and defensively she reads the ball well. Last club season she played for Athena Volleyball Academy 17-1 National team.
She is currently not committed to a school.
Mackenzie Leith Mackenzie Leith 5'11" | OH Mountainside | 2021 State OR , 5’11”, OH, Mountainside High School, North Pacific Juniors, University of Puget Sound

Leith had another great season with the Mountainside High School Mavericks, helping them secure a fourth-place finish in the 6A State tournament. A go-to outside attacker her sophomore and junior season, she was awarded Metro Second Team All-League both seasons. As a freshman, she was on their JV team as Mountainside was a brand new school so they did not participate in any Varsity sports. She is a smart attacker and is able to find holes in the opponent’s defense well. She makes a great six rotation player as she has consistent ball control, especially on serve receive. When in the back-row, she has a strong back-row attack. Last club season she played for North Pacific Juniors 17-1 National team.
She recently committed to play at the University of Puget Sound.
Adelle Brogger Adelle Brogger 5'7" | S Glencoe | 2021 State OR , 5’7″, S/DS, Glencoe High School, Athena Volleyball Academy

Brogger had a stellar season for the Glencoe High School Crimson Tide, setting a 6-2 alongside senior Aneli Godinez-Martinez. For her play, she was awarded Pacific Conference Honorable Mention. She has an exceptionally quick release on the ball and hides her backset well. Setting aside, she has a mean jump float serve and plays all out on defense. She also brings great energy to the court. Last club season she played for Athena Volleyball Academy 17-1 National team.
She is currently not committed to a school.
Bailey Savage Bailey Savage 6'3" | MB Perrydale | 2021 State OR , 6’3″, MB/RS, Dallas High School, North Pacific Juniors, Eastern Washington University

Savage had a dominant junior season for the Perrydale High School Pirates, who finished sixth in the 1A State tournament. Their starting middle blocker, she was key to their success offensively. For her play, she was awarded 1A Honorable Mention. She ended up transferring back to Dallas High School, after playing for Perrydale High School her sophomore and junior year. She will be graduating high school in January so that she can be on campus at Eastern Oregon come February. Last club season she played for North Pacific Juniors 17-1 National team.
She is committed to play at Eastern Oregon University.
Hannah Stadstad Hannah Stadstad 5'11" | RS West Albany | 2021 State OR , 5’11”, RS, West Albany High School, North Pacific Juniors

Stadstad had a breakout junior season for the West Albany High School Bulldogs, helping them secure a fifth-place finish in the 5A State tournament. For her play, she was awarded Mid-Willamette First Team All-League and All-State Honorable Mention. Though making the Varsity squad as a freshman, she was able to make her way into the starting lineup this season and made an immediate and lasting impact. With an insanely high vertical and being left-handed, she thrives on the right side, hitting a .273 on the season. This past club season she played for North Pacific Juniors 17-1 National.

Makenna Joyce, 6’0″, OH, Lake Oswego High School, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy

Although this was Joyce’s first season for the Lake Oswego High School Lakers, she was an impact player for them. Her ability to play any position across the front row with ease secured her Three Rivers League Honorable Mention. Given her high vertical, she started out as a middle blocker but recently transitioned to the outside given her great court sense and improving ball control. She has a sneaky line shot using the classic thumb up/pinky down shot that proves challenging to read for defenders. Last club season, she played for Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy 17-1 National team.
She is currently not committed to a school.
Ava Valentine Ava Valentine 5'8" | S Jesuit | 2021 State OR , 5’8″, S/DS, Jesuit High School, Athena Volleyball Academy

Although on the varsity roster since her freshman year, she did not start seeing playing time for the Crusaders until this year. Even though she has trained as a setter most of her career, she had to step into the defensive specialist role, given the Crusaders had returners Alison Buchholz Alison Buchholz 5'7" | S Jesuit | 2021 State OR and Peyton Griffin Peyton Griffin 6'0" | S Jesuit | 2021 State OR running a 6-2. During club season she saw time as both a setter and a defensive specialist, fulfilling whatever role her team needed. Juggling different roles on different teams, she deals with adversity well. She is very athletic and quick and uses this to her advantage. Last club season she played for Athena Volleyball Academy 17-1 National team.
