Audrey Koenig Audrey Koenig 6'3" | OH Bishop McLaughlin | 2021 State FL has earned her ranking at the number one spot for players in the state of Florida. On Bishop McLaughlin’s Varsity volleyball team, Audrey has played in almost 300 sets since her Freshman year back in 2017. Since then, she has scored a remarkable 1231 kills, 156 total blocks, and nearly 150 aces. Her talent is both in the power and accuracy of her swings, but also in her incredible ability to read the court. She is able to find the one spot that will give her the kill and then has the speed, height, and hand control to put the ball in that exact location. Whether she is playing on an indoor or sand court, Audrey is a player you have to stop and watch. She is consistently ranked with the top players in the state and has led her team in numerous victories in their pursuit of the 3A state title. This year Bishop McLaughlin ranked fifth in the state of Florida and 21 in the nation. Audrey will continue to play next year at the collegiate level at Florida State University.
Sandy Cao – 6’0” – OH – Osceola High School
Sandy Cao is a dynamic attacker and defender for Osceola’s Varsity volleyball team. As an outside hitter, she plays mostly in the front row and is incredibly talented at making big swings from the outside, setting up blocks, and covering on defense. Her first two years on a varsity team were at Clearwater High School, before making the move to Osceola in her junior year. Her varsity career stats over a 175 game spread include nearly 550 kills and over 500 digs. Sandy’s powerful attacks come from both her ability to put an incredible amount of top-spin on the ball and the height at which she can jump, in addition to her tall stature and arm length. The result is an impressive, fast swing with the ball landing typically straight down on the 10-foot line.
Brenna Reinhard – 5’10” – MH, OH – East Lake High School
Brenna Reinhard has been playing volleyball at the varsity level since her freshman year at Tarpon Springs High School, until this year when she moved to East Lake High School’s Varsity team. Her senior year stats at East Lake span 91 games with 260 kills and over 200 digs. Brenna is an outstanding middle hitter and an all-around smart front-row attacker. She exhibits great control over her timing whether to a block or an out of system set. Her ability to snap the ball straight down in the middle, make cut shots crosscourt from the left-side, or swing line on the right side comes from her extensive play time on the beach court and her training on her impressive club team. Brenna is an all-star standout and continues to impress coaches with her natural talent and smart playing on the court.
Kylie Stroehlein – 5’10” – OH, DS – Sickles High School
Kylie Stroehlein is an all-around player and asset to Sickles High’s Varsity volleyball team. Her talent is seen from many different positions on the court, whether she is back row passing or front row hitting. Her career stats since she joined the varsity team in 2018, her sophomore year, include 144 sets played, with over 550 kills, a hitting percentage of .399, and nearly 400 digs. Her senior stats are more impressive with over 320 kills and a .496 hitting percentage, the highest on the team by far. Kylie has led the Sickles High team this year to many victories as one of the top-scoring hitters and one of the most successful defenders on the team as well. Between her beach training and her smart playing skills, Kylie is definitely among the top players in the state this year.
Becca Bach – 5’11” – MB, RS – Steinbrenner High School – 2021
Becca Bach is an outstanding front row hitter and blocker for Steinbrenner’s Varsity volleyball team. In the past two seasons, Becca has played in 140 sets and accumulated 130 kills and over 100 blocks in the middle and right side positions. It is hard to stand out on one of the best varsity teams in the state, and yet Becca does so. She has incredible timing and reach with her blocks, and displays a range of hitting techniques along the net. Her go-to hit starts with a quick middle set that she places deep left-side, where the libero struggles to pick it up. Becca’s versatility in the front row makes her an asset to any high-level team.
