With nearly 1,400 attempts on the season, Cole shouldered a huge offensive load for the Leopards in 2020. She concluded the season at just shy of a six kills per set average. She and her setter showed good dynamics as an offensive duo as Cole found success through a variety of options and tempos. She opens herself to the ball well in the air and can put some heat on the ball when on balance. The 2nd team all-Ohio selection was also among team leaders at over 12 digs per match.
Abby Monn – Elyria | 2021
Monn averaged 5.7 kills per set and hit at a .305 efficiency, which is very respectable for an outside hitter, especially one that swings at over 1,000 attempts on the season. At 5’10, she has an aggressive approach pattern that leads to a fast arm swing once in the air. She has good vision and arm control to swing wrist away or challenge hands and seams well. A 2nd team all-Ohio honoree, Monn averaged over 15 digs per match while leading her team in total service aces. She is committed to Edinboro University.
Karleigh Rothe – Dublin Scioto | 2021
Rothe led the Irish with 3.6 kills per set while showing good ability to get off the floor to create a high and aggressive contact point. An athletic six-rotation outside hitter, Rothe mirrored that offensive aggressiveness from the right side and back row as well when needed. She helped her team to an undefeated conference season while garnering 2nd team all-Ohio honors. She also led her team in total service aces with 74 while picking up nearly 10 digs per match.

The Dayton commit is the #9 ranked prospect by Prep Dig Ohio for the class of 2021. She is a long and rangy left side attacker with a fundamentally sound approach and arm in the air. She has great footwork in her pass-to-attack and transition opportunities with a quick arm swing that generates a lot of pace. She averaged five kills per set while hitting a .360 and terminating nearly 50% of her attempts. With college-ready skills, she was a 2nd team all-Ohio selection as she also averaged nearly two blocks and 10 digs per match.
Isabella Weiler – Watkins Memorial | 2021
Weiler brings a lot of athleticism to the court as a six-rotation athlete. She has good quickness and is explosive off the ground at the net when attacking and blocking. Her arm control and speed are evident as well as she led Warriors with a 4.5 kills per set average on a .371 clip. She can terminate from either pin and has good arm control and range through her swing. The honorable mention selection collected over seven digs per match while displaying good aggressiveness and a lot of confidence in her game helping lead the Warriors to an undefeated conference season.
