A 2nd team honoree, Bouillan helped guide the Blue Jackets to a 17-7 overall record. She guided their offense to a .230 attack efficiency while delivering up nearly eight assists per set. She has good athleticism and plays bigger than her 5’6 frame might indicate. She was among team leaders in total service aces and was terrific on the defensive side a she collected over 14 digs per match.
Brianna Ebel – Lincolnview | 2021
A scrappy athlete, Ebel has good court instincts as a setter and on the defensive side. She has good touch on the ball through all zones of their offense and led the Lancers to a .274 attack efficiency and 20-3 overall record, including 8-0 in conference play. Along with her veteran leadership, she plays with good pursuit of the ball defensively at times making big plays to keep the ball off the court. She averaged 10 assist per set while picking eight digs per match. Ebel was an honorable mention selection.
Dyllan Knoll – St. Paul | 2022
Just shy of 10 assists per set, Knoll was an all-Ohio honorable mention selection. Her engagement around the court is noticeable as she competes well and provides good floor leadership. Additionally, she has good court awareness and is savvy with her decisions to send the ball over on a second contact through a variety of zones. She also averaged seven digs per match and served up 37 aces on the season.
Maya Maurer – Fort Loramie | 2021
A 2nd team all-Ohio selection, Maurer averaged 10 assists per set and helped Fort Loramie reach the regional seminfinal round and a 23-4 overall record. Their offense averaged over 12 assists per set and she showed good command of the setting role with her ability to set with good location through both pins and on the move against flow. She contributed well on the defensive side also at six digs and two blocks per match.
Ashley Mullenhour – Jackson Center | 2021
Mullenhour’s impact was felt in a variety of facets of the game. She has good all-around skills and plays bigger at the net than her size would indicate. She helped run the Tigers offense and dished up over four assists per set. She also could take a healthy swing on the ball from any location in the front row as she put down an average of two kills per set. The honorable mention selection also contributed over 10 digs per match on the defensive side
