Competing for the Wildcats in a dual role as a middle and setter, Fisher displayed good court instincts throughout the season with her ability to place the ball around the opponent’s court when attacking and in opportunities to to be aggressive with a second contact. At over 1,000 attempts on the season she put down over five kills per set on a .299 attack efficiency. She also contributed nearly four assists per set and seven digs per match. As an attacker, she will increase her arm pace and efficiency with attention to her footwork patterns that help build better momentum and helps create better timing to swing at the max of her jump. She was a DIII 3rd team all-Ohio selection.
Sara Ice – 5’7 | Waynedale
Ice was an offensive force for the Golden Bears this season helping lead them to a 21-4 overall record. She hit a very impressive .480 while terminating over 50% of her attemps and averaging over six kills per set. She showed her veteran skills and athleticism in a variety of ways on the defensive side as well at two blocks and nine digs per match. Her contributions helped her earn Division III 1st team all-Ohio recognition.
Catherine Klopp – 5’11 | Mohawk
Klopp is listed as a middle hitter but enjoyed a lot of opportunity to attack the ball through all zones from pin to pin. As she has the ability to terminate through varied options she looked most dynamic and comfortable through quicker tempos in the middle. When on time and in rhythm she gets good lift and can great good heat through her arm swing. With an average of 4.6 kills per set, she showed good command for the ball in transition and proved her effectiveness hitting at a .375 efficiency. She was a DIV all-Ohio honorable mention selection.

At 3.4 kills per set, Pohlman was the clear offensive leader and first option for the Flyers. A DIV 1st team all-Ohio selection, she found good success hitting at a .371 efficiency and scoring on just over 50% of her attempts. The work she does early to get herself available for her setter is a big reason for her success. She has good footwork off the net in transition to create space and variety in her options around her setter. She has an aggressive arm and can approach off both one or two feet. A big contributor on the defensive side as well, she averaged 4.6 blocks per match.
Ashley Scott – 5’8 | Russia
Scott has shown good versatiltity and ability to contribute for her team where needed. With an average of 3.4 kills per set, she scored from the left pin and in the middle as she was part of a tandem that saw the majority of offensive opportunities for the Raiders. Most suited for the left side, she is aggressive in her approach and arm swing and can improve her elevation and balance in the air if she can become more efficient in her movement patterns and by utilizing both arms to create more dynamic lift off the floor. Scott was a DIV all-Ohio honorable mention honoree.
