Angeles Alderete is another outstanding hitter from Mater’s Varsity team. Her height and incredible jumps get her high into the air taking her swings to a new level. Angeles, much like Taylor, is a well-rounded hitter that is successful from any position in the front row. She has played in 38 sets this season with a total of 148 kills with a .362 hitting percentage. In addition to her talent in the front row, she is also a decent defender, despite her tall frame, and can easily make serve receive passes, or dig up hard driven balls in the back row.

Her career stats are even more impressive, and she has received numerous awards and accolades. It is evident that Alexa is an all-around outstanding player and an asset to her team.

She has played in 41 sets this season and scored a total of 178 kills with a .285 hitting percentage. Overall, Cailin is a talented hitter that can approach from anywhere on the court and make a successful attack on the ball. Usually, her powerful swings easily break through the opponent’s block. Cailin is one of the top-scorers on her team and greatly contributed to their victories this season.
