A terrific multi-sport athlete, McConnell provided some big offense for her team over the past couple of seasons. In 2020 she average 6.6 kills per set and proved difficult to slow down with a .365 attacking efficiency. Her highlights were not just on the offensive side as she made a huge impact defensively at the net and in the back row. At over three blocks per match, she also was among team leaders with over 16 digs per match as a result of her development as a solid six-rotation athlete. She was a DII 1st team all-Ohio honoree this season.

Barney has great net presence as she has good length and athleticism and is aggressive in her play above the net when attacking and blocking. She was the offensive leader for the Pirates in 2020 at 3.7 kills per set as she and her team advanced to the regional semifinals. She can score through a variety of attack points and tempos around the setter and overhead on the right pin. The Malone commit also averaged 3.4 blocks per match, helping her earn DIII 2nd team all-Ohio recognition.

South Webster’s go-to offensive threat for a couple of seasons now, Maloney can get it done at the net and is a repeat recipient of POY honors. She averaged over four kills per set while swinging at a .368 attacking efficiency. Her contributions did not stop there as she collected over six digs per match while leading the team in service aces with 74 and in blocks per match at a 3.8 average. She helped guide the Jeeps to a DIV Region 15 finals appearance while earning DIV all-Ohio honorable mention honors individually.
