Please welcome Camy Kling Camy Kling 5'10" | S Klein | 2021 State TX to the 2021 Prep Dig State Rankings. We have her listed as the 67th best prospect in the state. In a previous article we wrote the following, “Camy earned 2nd team All-District honors last season. According to her coach she is a solid setter with great court composure to lead her team. She plays at a great long time program in the Houston area, Willowbrook. She is a great asset to her team as a setter but more importantly on the defensive end. She digs extremely well in right back. There aren’t a lot of balls that fall near her defensive zone. She picks up everything. She just committed to the university of North Alabama and will definitely be an asset to their program the moment she steps on their campus next year. Camy just surpassed the 1,000 assist mark at Klein.” Today Miss Kling is competing in the State Championship game against Seven Lakes for the UIL 6A State Title. She is a hug reason why Klein has had an undefeated season and we are extremely proud to have her on our rankings. She has earned it through her play. Please help me congratulate her on her achievement.

Please welcome Abby Clayton Abby Clayton 6'0" | RS Brenham | 2021 State TX to the 2021 Prep Dig State Rankings. We have her listed as the 70th best prospect in the state. In a previous article we wrote the following, “Abby is a big and strong lefty middle who also hits out of the right side. She is a fantastic weapon to have for an offense because of her ability to hit on either side of the setter with power. She is extremely athletic and will do wonders for Sam Houston St University next year. She gets off of the ground extremely quickly and is always ready to hit quick tempo from her setters. She has been a stud for Brenham over the past couple of years and she is one big reason why they are so dominant this season out of the gates. This kid can absolutely unload on the ball and score with power. The Cubettes are really enjoying success from her blocking skills.” She was a huge reason why Brenham did so well this year. We firmly believe she will be an impact player for SHSU when they give her a chance. She has the frame and build for the collegiate game. Please help congratulate her on making the State Rankings for Prep Dig.

In a previous article we wrote the following,“She is a true six rotation outside hitter who is playing exceptionally well in her senior season. She plays with a ton of heart and is fun to watch after a kill as she celebrates with her team. She has a cannon for an arm and has been unloading on teams so far this season. She is able to hit out of multiple location on the court as Decatur loves to also have her pull back and serve receive pass out of the middle and swing in the front row. Trinity is able to play multiple positions on the court and if a small school still needs a player she is one to look at as she could definitely help a college program and is able to play at the next level.” We have followed her team very closely this season as they captured the UIL 4A State Championship. She was a huge reason why and you could see that in the title game, which led to her being named to the All-State Team. This hard-hitting phenom can definitely play at the next level if a school gave her a chance. She had a fantastic senior season and she showed us with her play that she deserved to be on our State Rankings. Please congratulate her on a great achievement.
