Here are four 11th Region sophomores on the rise.
Katherine Croce: A Sayre sophomore outside hitter, Croce put together a solid season during her latest prep campaign. As a sophomore, Croce recorded 180 kills, 120 digs and 45 service aces. Croce reads opposing defenses and calls out hitters consistently while producing in multiple categories regularly.
Ava Jackson Ava Jackson OH Dunbar | 2023 State #163 Nation KY : A Paul Laurence Dunbar sophomore outside hitter, Jackson was among the leaders for her team in the 2020 high school volleyball season. As a sophomore, Jackson tallied 208 kills, 24 blocks and 34 digs. Jackson is a go-to hitter and blocks well, both individually and with teammates.
Maggie Pulliam: A Sayre sophomore setter, Pulliam excelled during the 2020 high school volleyball season. Pulliam compiled 396 assists, 74 digs, 38 service aces and 21 kills as a sophomore. The Sayre setter is an accurate passer and vocal leader.
Alaina Scott: A Lafayette sophomore outside hitter/middle hitter, Scott excels along the net. Comfortable hitting from the left side and playing in the middle, Scott is productive provides versatility to the Lafayette lineup. Agile, Scott moves well and uses her versatility at multiple positions.
