Multiple freshmen stepped up for teams across the 2nd Region during the 2020 high school volleyball season. 

Here are four 2nd Region freshmen on the rise. 

Keianna AlexanderKeiannaAlexanderRSHenderson County | 2024KY: A Henderson County freshman right side hitter, Alexander produced throughout the 2020 high school volleyball season. As a freshman, Alexander recorded 63 kills, 17 blocks, 22 digs and 12 service aces. A strong blocker, Alexander helps to lead her team on both offense and defense.

Rylee Owens: A Christian County freshman defensive specialist, Owens delivered regularly for her team during the 2020 high school volleyball season. On the floor for her team in each set of the 2020 campaign, Owens logged 26 service aces, 21 assists and 10 kills. Owens possesses strong defensive skills and delivers from the back row routinely. 

Katie Perryman: A Crittenden County freshman hitter, Perryman was among the leaders for her team during the 2020 high school volleyball season. As a freshman, Perryman posted 144 kills, 40 blocks, 24 digs and 55 service aces. Perryman is a go-to hitter who is productive in both the front row and the back row.

Julia Thomas: A University Heights freshman right side hitter/middle hitter, Thomas excelled as a freshman.
