Here are four juniors from the All-Region 7 Volleyball Tournament Team to watch.
Julia McNeeley: A Sacred Heart junior outside hitter, McNeeley delivered for her team throughout the 2020 high school volleyball season. As a junior, McNeeley posted 193 kills, 10 blocks, 12 assists, 147 digs and 13 service aces. Carrying momentum over into the upcoming club volleyball season, McNeeley elevates well at the net and hits consistently.
Peyton Nauert: A Presentation junior outside hitter/defensive specialist, Nauert was a key player for her team as a junior. Nauert recorded 93 kills, 13 blocks, 15 assists, 187 digs and 9 service aces during the 2020 high school volleyball season. A versatile player who is able to thrive in more than one position, Nauert produces both offensively and defensively regularly.
Madison Rice-Locket Madison Rice-Locket MB Male | 2022 State KY : A Male junior middle blocker, Rice-Locket is one of the state’s top high school volleyball players. Dominant in the middle, Rice-Locket registered 135 kills, 11 blocks, 104 digs and 14 service aces in only 15 matches during the 2020 high school volleyball season. Agile and athletic, Rice-Locket is one of the state’s most athletic female high school student-athletes.
Tess Schrenger Tess Schrenger OH Sacred Heart | 2022 State KY : A Sacred Heart junior outside hitter, Schrenger was among the leaders for her team during the 2020 high school volleyball season. Highly productive, Schrenger recorded 296 kills, 24 blocks, 13 assists, 182 digs and 14 service aces as a junior. Schrenger, who was named the Region 7 Player of the Year, possesses a solid all-around skill set and hits hard from the left side.
