Covid has slowed things way down and made it impossible to do official D1 visits. These girls all have what it takes to play at the next level!!

At 6’3″ Waters has a high ceiling. She’s got a great contact point which can be over the blockers. She has a knack for seeing what is open on the court and being aggressive to get it to that spot. I’ve seen her play anywhere across the net and terminate which makes her very valuable. Ella is talking to several D1 coaches weekly and waiting for the dead period to lift to make some visits. Good luck Ella. We will be waiting to see where you land. Ella’s accolades include 2020 Class B 1st team All-State (Omaha World-Herald) 2020 2nd team All-Nebraska (Omaha World-Herald), 2020 Class B 1st team All-state (Lincoln Journal Star), and 2020 3rd team for Super State (Lincoln journal star). Waters led her team in kills (400) hitting a very efficient .356. She also added 44 blocks to her stats this year.

Ms. Scheierman led all of Class B in kills with 516 kills. She had 38 aces, 54 blocks, 307 digs and 385 serve receives. This 6′ outside has a hammer for an arm and can terminate from anywhere on the court. She’s solid in defense and serve receive and will make a super college athlete.
Maddie MacTaggart

| OH | Millard West | Premier | Uncommitted
Maddie transferred to Millard West and had a great volleyball season. She put down 313 kills and added 198 digs. She’s a dynamic hitter with a great vertical and can play either pin. She’s a fun player to watch and looking forward to seeing her play this spring in club. Maddie is being recruited by several schools and will make a great addition to any team!

Holsteen can play all across the net at outside, right side and even middle if needed. She has played right side for her high school team the last 2 years and has been a big contributor! She put down 203 kills and added 29 blocks for her Southwest Silverhawks. She has done a few official visits with smaller colleges (with a couple offers) and is looking forward to club season starting up and hopefully getting in front of even more schools before making her college commitment.

This 6-rotation outside can play both pins and played some middle during her high school season as the need was there, but– she will present as an outside at the next level. She’s got a powerful swing and moves quickly in the back row. Taylor has done a few official visits and practices with teams and is waiting for after the holidays to get on some campuses again. Covid has messed with some visits she was hoping to make, but she is looking forward to finding her college home soon.
We know all these athletes have worked hard at their craft. Don’t get caught up in what number you are, as many student-athletes are very similar in skill. Rankings are always fluid and can have drastic changes year to year especially at the 15’s and 16’s level when girls are still growing and developing.
