If we list a player who has signed it is not intentional. These are players within our top 50 we believe are still searching for the right fit.
#17 – Samantha Schuler Samantha Schuler 5'11" | RS Pattonville | 2021 State MO – Opp – Pattonsville
This is what we said about Schulder in August. “A very solid right side player in the state. She can score and put up a good block from the right-side. Schuler has the chance to get to the 1000 kill mark in her final season.”
#26 – Mallory Polk Mallory Polk 5'10" | MB Lesterville | 2021 State MO – OH – Lesterville
At 5’9″ Polk can contribute on the pins for a Division II and NAIA program. She has one of the most productive careers as a hitter in the state’s history totaling 1574 kills. If you add in her 1200 digs, she can contribute at a high level.

We put these two together because we actually featured them in a previous article regarding being top uncommitted athletes. We said, “These two athletes were the ones many coaches were surprised haven’t made the call on their commitments to date. Lily Letchworth Lily Letchworth 5'10" | S Blue Springs | 2021 State MO (Blue Springs/PVA) has been one of the top setters in Kansas City over the last couple of seasons. She is within reach of 2000 career assists. She is very smart at the net with ball placements and dumps. She also provides a steady defense when necessary. Anna Deutschmann Anna Deutschmann 5'6" | DS/L Francis Howell | 2021 State MO has been a feisty defender over the years. She makes the difficult plays look easy with her court awareness. Both athletes could be valuable signees for competitive division two programs.” Letchworth did finish with almost 2200 assists. She has transitioned over to Dynasty and will be a great get for any program. Deutschmann put together good numbers and prospects to play defense next level. She had 213 kills and 139 digs.
#32 Kendall Boone Kendall Boone 5'10" | OH Lee's Summit | 2021 State MO – OH – Lee’s Summit
The 5’11” Boone had a huge year for Lee’s Summit showing she can be a go-to scorer in the right system. She has good height and jumping ability. After a season that saw her deliver 351 kills, she is an ideal Division 2 prospect
#38 Hannah Joyce Hannah Joyce 5'8" | S Pleasant Hill | 2021 State MO – S – Pleasant Hill
Joyce has been a very good player in her high school career. In early October we highlighted her as an uncommitted setter in the Kansas City area. We had this to say, “She is not a new name by our standards but she wasn’t included on the KC Metro list. She was a member of our just outside the area list but we will add her since Pleasant Hill is kind of considered the metro. Anyway, enough rambling…Joyce is being her typical self in 2020. She is averaging 10 assists a set and has racked up 424 in the first month.” She ended the season with close to 1000 assists. At 5’8″ she has the height and athleticism to contribute at the D2/NAIA level.
#39 Hannah Tadlock Hannah Tadlock DS/L Ozark | 2021 State MO – MB – Ozark
The 6’1″ Tadlock has the height and skill to play at the next level. She is very strong defensively and has an improved offensive package. She runs an effective slide and can take quality swings from the right side. Tadlock is athletic and can be a good get for a D2 program.
#42 Morgan Isenberg Morgan Isenberg DS/L Lafayette (Wildwood) | 2021 State MO – MB – Lafayette
Isenberg is another middle still on the market and will make a coach happy. At 6’0″, she is another athletic player who can do numerous things across the front row. She does a great job of transitioning off the net and getting herself in a position to give her setter another option. She has great length and offers a strong defensive presence.
# 47 Presli Firkins Presli Firkins 5'4" | DS/L Platte County | 2021 State MO – L/DS – Platte County
Firkins is a gritty defender who can make plays all over the court. She gives up her body and is the type a player coaches love. She is a pin-point passer in serve receive and has good awareness. She can compete DII, DIII, and NAIA.
# 49 Morgan LeBlanc Morgan LeBlanc 5'9" | OH Branson | 2021 State MO – OH/DS – Branson
LeBlanc had a phenomenal senior season for Branson. The 5’9″ pin had 441 kills and 370 digs. She could player either on the pin or primarily defense for the right team.
# 50 Paige Huhman Paige Huhman MB Lee's Summit North | 2021 State MO – MB – Lee’s Summit North
Huhman was highlighted last summer in the top uncommitted middles in Kansas City. That article said, “The one word that immediately comes to mind when you watch Huhman play is: smart. The more you see her in action, the more impressed you become in her game. She does most of her damage in front of the setter and does a great job of hitting 3 balls. She can find the floor with her power but also has a knack for taking speed off to find the open spaces. Of the middles we’ve watched, she separates herself by her shot selection and knows when to turn that wrist at the right time. Huhman could potentially add value to programs on the next level by swinging from the right side as well. She has a good wingspan and does a good job of putting herself in position to get blocks in one on one situations. She is another middle who has shown the ability to pass the ball from the back row, which adds value to her stock.”
# 51 Rachel Spainhour Rachel Spainhour 5'11" | MB Liberty North | 2021 State MO – MB – Liberty North
We were going to stop at 50 but decided to go one further to add the undefeated state champion. We mentioned Spainhour a few times over the last handful of months. She was highlighted in this article about players who will make a name for themselves in the suburban gold conference. She made our rock steady team as a senior who has been what some consider quietly productive in their careers. The 6’0″ senior is a leader who makes any team better. She’s athletic along the net and can score when called upon.
