The Class of 2024 is loaded with talent and our time to be able to watch them has been limited.  Many of these players made varsity for their high school seasons and will likely step into BIG roles during the club season.  Here’s a look at 15 of the top players on our 2024 Watch List.

Andie Spies is a 5’10 Setter/Outside Hitter from Fort Atkinson.  She may not have had a high school season this fall, but it was a fun fall for Spies and a group of players who put teams together for a couple of Prep Dig Fall Tournaments.  Spies’ athleticism was utilized, and she was able to showcase her talent.

Ella SkogmanEllaSkogman6'2" | MBWaukesha West | 2024WI is a 6′2 middle blocker from Waukesha West, and she has unlimited potential.  She broke onto our radar during Prep Dig Tournaments while she played with the varsity squad and truly held her own.  Skogman is strong, and with work on speed and agility, she will be a real force to reckon with.

Milwaukee Sting’s 15’s National Training group is already looking strong.  I love this approach to taking on enough for the 3 national teams and training together so you can better evaluate before placing them onto their teams.  In south-eastern Wisconsin, Sting has been a force, as they field 3-4 extremely competitive teams at every age level.  Players come from across the state to train with Sting.   [player_tooltip player_id="122568" first="Lilly" last="Wagner"] Photo Credit: Breit Nelson They are already showing some pretty dominant players, including Emily BrussEmilyBruss5'8" | SPulaski | 2024WI (5’8 - Setter – Pulaski), Claire LuomaClaireLuoma5'8" | LFranklin | 2024WI (5’8 – Libero – Franklin), and Lilly WagnerLillyWagner5'11" | SOconomowoc | 2024WI (5’11 – Setter – Oconomowoc). Bruss has exceptional volleyball IQ and court awareness, but her ability to jump made her one of the blockers for her team at Prep Dig Tournaments this fall.   Luoma’s confidence is great to see in such a young player up against some of the best hitters in the country.  As a starter for the Coons, Wagner propelled their level of play with her innate physical capability.  The 16 Purple team for Wisconsin Ice has brought up Meg PfannerstillMegPfannerstill5'8" | OHLakeland | 2024WI, the Outside Hitter from Lakeland.  As a freshman, she has already made her presence known as she earned 2nd Team honor in the competitive Great Northern Conference.  Pfannerstill plays with energy and a “no fear” style of play.  It makes a lot of sense that she’s pulled up to compete with older players!
