PictureThe boy's volleyball club season has officially kicked off with the Florida Fest Boys Bid Tournament hosted in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center. Nearly 100 teams descended to the sunshine state to play for a bid to play in the USAV Boys Open Championships held June 30-July 7, 2021 in Kansas City, Missouri. The tournament is split into the Open Division for 14s, 15s, 16s, 17s and 18s and the USA Division for the 17s and 18s age group. The Open winners will earn automatic bids into Nationals while other teams can participate in the USA and Club divisions. 

Some of Virginia's elite players will be on hand at the event from the dozen teams that are attending from the Commonwealth. Coastal Virginia Volleyball Club, Coastal Hampton Roads (CHR), Richmond Volleyball Club (RVC) and Old Dominion Volleyball Academy (ODVA) all sent teams to Florida for the first bid tournament of the season. Eight VHSL All-State players will be on hand along with some other top prospects.
