Here are some right sides you need to see play this club season.
Erica Antle – 2022 – Right Side Hitter – LaSalle-Peru – Lions Starved Rock 17Red
Antle can put up a solid block and offers a strong scoring channel on the right pin. Expect her to grow through the club season and really shine in her senior year. Antle’s ability to elevate and hit a sharp cut really stretches the defense. And some teams try to target her in serve-receive to take her out as a hitting option, but she is a strong passer who passes nails from a tough angle. Expect big things from her in the future
Hannah Derenne – 2021 – 6’0 – Luxemburg-Casco – Committed To UW-Oshkosh
Derenne is a smooth six-rotation right side who plays taller than 6’0. She is a nightmare for opposing outside hitters because she makes a routine of shutting them down, as well as making them look silly while she works offensively. Derenne is made of power, enthusiasm, and athleticism making her a fun player to watch.
Makayla Weissenberg – 2024 – Right Side Hitter – Sky High Adidas 15-1 NS
Weissenberg is a lefty with a strong approach. I’m not sure where she goes to high school, but she is a great catch who is just ready to explode on the high school scene. Weissenberg takes smart shots while she gets lots of touches when blocking, but most importantly, she gives everything she has on every play. The fun part about being a freshman is that she just kept getting better and better with every swing she took and was developing into a real offensive threat right in front of our eyes.

– 2021 – 6’0 – East Troy – Milwaukee Sting 18 Gold – Committed to Seton Hall
Winkler finds a way to make great contributions to no matter which team she is playing for. She was named to the WVCA Division 2 All-State First Team and is quickly identified as a possible danger at the net. Winkler was a crucial piece to East Troy’s last State title in 2018 as she balanced the attack as the lethal lefty swinging and putting up a wall as a blocker for opposing hitters.
Natalie Tesch Natalie Tesch 5'10" | S Wisconsin Lutheran | 2021 State WI – 2021 – 5’11 – Wisconsin Lutheran – Milwaukee Sting 18 Black
Tesch has always stood out whether she is solidifying a block or proving she knows how to terminate the first ball out of serve-receive. She is a dynamic lefty who will also be setting for Sting this year.
