Aubrey Sess- A Cincinnati local, Aubrey Sess shows great promise in her volleyball career. She plays for Mercy Mcauley High School and was an outside all the way around player. Sess will help offensively and defensively because of her skills hitting wise and passing. When she’s in the front row, she’s the person to set because of her craftiness and heart for the game. Also, she’s strong in the back row with her solid serve receive and capability to push both ways in middle back. This girl will help the NKJV 16 Blue team tons!
Megan Chun- This defensive specialist from Notre Dame Academy will be a great asset to this team. As many know, Notre Dame won the state championship this past year, and when their varsity team was quarantined in district, the junior varsity players stepped in to help win the district championship. One of those was Megan Chun. Her hustle and effort never goes unnoticed, and you can always find her in the back row digging as many balls possible! This 2023 DS will prove to be vital for NKJV!
Norah Lawrence- Another Cincinnati local, Norah Lawrence played for Wyoming this past year and was a huge contribution to the team. As a sophomore defensive specialist, she had 144 digs, 21 service aces, 398 serve receive passes, and even added a .290 kill percentage. Because of her athleticism, it will be interesting to see what position she plays for this talented NKJV team. Her platform is so smooth which allows her to be efficient in serve receive and defense. Be on the lookout for this 2023 recruit!
Emma Piepmeier- The last highlighted player is another Cincinnati local from Harrison, OH where she played for Harrison High School. Standing at 5’11, Emma Piepmeier impacts the team with her height and ability to hit at any position. She is so dynamic that teams have used her on the outside and in the middle, but her home is on the right since she’s left handed. Piepmeier is strong-minded and never quits which is extremely important in the front row. Piepmeier will be a go-to for this NKJV team!
