Here is a look at four players in Pool Four to keep an eye on. A four-team pool that includes MAVS KC 17-1, MAVS 816 17-1, Kansas VBC 17-1, and Dynasty Academy 17-1.
L, Vivian Kieffer Vivian Kieffer 5'6" | DS/L Shawnee Mission Northwest | 2022 State KS , 5’6”, MAVS KC 17-1 (Shawnee Mission Northwest) – Kieffer is the highest-ranked libero in the Class of 2022 Prep Dig Kansas rankings. She finished her senior season for the Cougars with 423 digs and 386 serve receptions. She also has a strong serve and can only improve her recruiting stock with a solid club season.
OH, Brooke Leiker Brooke Leiker 6'0" | OH Blue Valley West | 2022 State KS , 6’0”, MAVS KC 17-1 (Blue Valley West) – Leiker is a talented six-footer who plays for Blue Valley West. She finished her junior season with 216 kills to rank among the Top 20 in Class 5A during the 2020 season.
OH, Olivia Lubbers Olivia Lubbers 5'8" | OH Rock Creek | 2022 State KS , 5’8”, Kansas VBC 17-1 (Rock Creek) – Luebbers as a very high ceiling. She plays smart, can jump, and has a big reach. She is a fringe Division II prospect, and a must look at for NAIA and JUCO recruiters. Luebbers can be a six-rotation player as she finished with 224 kills and 235 digs for Rock Creek in junior season.
MH, Avrie Wilson, 5’8”, Kansas VBC 17-1 (Wamego) – Wilson is a raw talent who will get better as she matures. She finished her sophomore season at Wamego with 122 kills and 47 blocks. She has currently projects as an NAIA level talent but has a chance to impress with a big club season.
MB, Erika Hanke Erika Hanke 6'0" | MB Olathe East | 2022 State KS , 6’0”, Dynasty Academy 17-1 (Olathe East) – Hanke has a big swing and hits the ball hard. She moves well for a taller player and has a solid presence at the net. She adjusts well to missed sets and has a smooth approach to the net. She is ranked No. 7 in the Prep Dig Kansas player rankings for the Class of 2022.
S, Caitlin Bishop Caitlin Bishop 5'8" | S Lansing | 2022 State KS , 5’7”, Dynasty Academy 17-1 (Lansing) – Bishop is a talented setter, and she is surrounded by solid hitters on this Dynasty Academy squad. During her junior season, Bishop amassed 940 assists and 185 digs. She is very consistent and an emotional player. She should get college offers from the JUCO all the way to the DI ranks. Bishop is ranked No. 7 in the Prep Dig Kansas player rankings for the Class of 2022.
