She also contributed close to 200 digs. She is extremely athletic, evidenced by being a state qualifier in the 300m Hurdles.
Gabbie O’Toole / S / 5-7 / PVA 18 Elite / 18 Open
O’Toole has made the move over to PVA this season and is an experienced player who could fill the setting void in a college program. She won a state championship in 2019 in a two-setter system. In that season, she had 313 assists and 125 digs. She was a first-team Eastern Kansas League player this fall, which many argue is the top conference in the state. The one junior on this list, Wheeler is the quarterback of Pohaku’s 18-1 team. She has great size and skill. She plays for one of the top high school programs in the country, so she is a winner and leader. She has a high volleyball I.Q. and does a good job of getting her team in the right spots.
