Meredith Brown Meredith Brown 6'4" | MB Mercy | 2023 State KY – Standing at 6’4, Meredith Brown Meredith Brown 6'4" | MB Mercy | 2023 State KY played for Mercy High School as just a sophomore. She played in 19 games and was a huge part of their state-runner up title. A major part of her skill is her blocking ability where she had 44 total blocks and led the team in solos with 13. She’ll be a big middle blocker for the UNION 16s team and will be a huge standout for her age group. Yes, her height and athleticism are imperative for the game, but her vision and ability to track the ball are very special! Watch out for this 2023 recruit!
Julia McNeley- From class of 2022, Julia McNeley will impact the team as an outside hitter and defensive specialist. She played for Sacred Heart Academy in 21 sets and helped the team in every aspect of the game. McNeley tallied 193 kills, 10 blocks, 12 assists, 147 digs, and 13 service aces. Her efficiency in hitting a back row attack really helps the offense of any team, but also her passing skills make her a solid all around player. McNeley will be a big factor in their defense and offense, so watch out for this girl in the lineup!
Kiki Brown- Coming from Sellersburg, IN, Kiki Brown is a 5’4 defensive specialist and played for Silver Creek High School. Watching her play middle back this school season showed how athletic Kiki is and how great her reaction time is. Brown’s love for the game really is shown through her play where she hustles and pushes for every ball. Passing is extremely important for any team, so Kiki will add depth in the back row because of her serve receive and defense. Keep an eye out for Kiki in the back row!
Grace Purichia- Another great player from Indiana, Grace Purichia was a part of Providence High School’s volleyball program in Clarksville. You may have heard of her already where Prepdig wrote about her in 2020 for being one of the best setters in her class. At 5’7, her athleticism, knowledge of the game, and pure heart puts her apart from any other setter in her class. Not only does she set dimes, she plays great defense and knows how to lead her team on and off the floor. Purichia will be the key to this UNION Under-Armour 16’1s team!
