AVC Rox 17 Blue
Madie Shoaf has great versatility with ability to score from any location on the net and through varied tempos as a pin attacker or middle. At the pins, Annika Nichols has ability to contact high and take an aggressive swing. More efficiency in her movement pattern will create more balance and increase contact point in the air. Paige Wrabel has a good skill set and can contribute on either pin as she gets good lift at the end of her approach.
Mintonette M.72 National
Jaianna Bouarouy is one of the setters for this team and can distribute the full court with good accuracy. She shows good balance and effective location setting against the flow. She also plays with an offensive mindset to take advantage of her own point scoring opportunities. Maddie Grimm is the other setter and is equally effective as she has good quickness to pursue the ball and shows good understanding of tempo and location when on the move. Maci Keys is an active middle and can score through multiple attack points. When on time and with good spacing she can move the ball around coming off her arm.
NOVA 17 Navy
Tristen Gierhart is one of this team’s primary point scorers. She elevates well and can create a lot of pace off her arm at either pin. Allison Yanak is a 6’0 pin attacker with a big jump. Her contact point can help her challenge the defense well at the net and in moving the ball around off her arm. Natalie Eckard is another arm that helps create good offensive depth for this team. She also stands at 6’0 and has good elevation at the net. A high ball allows her to get up and get after it in the air and maximize her contact point. Increasing her foot and arm speed and attacking through quicker options will benefit her athleticism and increase her impact.
Toledo 17 Black
Caris Cross is a 5’11 setter that brings good size and mobility to the role. She has good movement around the floor and creates good balance in the air to be able to set moderate pin tempo. Her footwork is also fundamental in that she pursues the ball well to second touch. Paige Contris is effective in her role defensively in the back row. She actively reads point flow well and gets herself on balance to help her create range with her platform. Molly Rees can score from the left as she builds momentum well with her footwork. In the air she opens to the ball well and can create good pace with a fast arm.
