The Class of 2021 has plenty of talent across the state and we wanted to give players at each position some recognition. So let’s continue our list of the position breakdown by taking a look at the top Middle Blockers in the Class of 2021. 

Eleanor Stothoff Eleanor Stothoff 6'2" | MB North Hunterdon | 2021 State NJ (North Hunterdon; USA NY)

A North Hunterdon product, Stohoff might be their best. The 6’2″ middle has made her presence known in each match that she plays in. Last season she compiled 232 kills, 45 blocks, and 162 digs. She’s the engine of the North Hunterdon squad. 

Sam Cox Sam Cox 5'11" | MB Voorhees | 2021 State NJ (Voorhees; CJVA)

Cox made her presence known in 2019 with 254 kills, 44 blocks and 135 dig for Voorhees. In the middle, she has great anticipation and court awareness always knowing how and where her opponent is setup. She then exploits the weakness and takes advantage with her fire of a swing. 

Michaela Ryan Michaela Ryan 6'0" | MB Cherokee | 2021 State NJ (Cherokee; Princeton VBC)

Ryan is a force to be reckon with in the Middle. She has versatility too by being able to play on the RS/Opposite. Her length is what gave opponents problems as she racked up 86 kills and 34 blocks. We’ve only
