The 2021 season is underway and people cannot be happier that players have been granted the opportunity to continue to play the sports they love. This season will be unlike any other, but there will be opportunities for players to blossom before our eyes. Let's take a look at some underclassmen who can potentially raise some eyebrows this season. 

Karissa Herman (Clearview; Libero)

Herman saw minimal playing time as a freshman for Clearview. She only recorded 4 digs a season ago. However, she was one to keep an eye on as her playing time was going to increase this season. She has already showcased her court presence and anticipation for the squad. She has 35 digs already in this young season and the focal point of the Clearview defense. 

Taylor Miller (Demarest; Opposite/Middle Blocker)

Miller is a freshman coming into one of the best squads in the state with Demarest. She has showcased her versatility already this season and the potential for years to come. She has 22 kills and 20 blocks for Demarest. It may be in glimpses but her ceiling is to be one of the best down the road and she's already making an impact offensively and
