We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front. There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news. These young ladies have been hard at work during the high school volleyball season and have been also hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have made their decisions. Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.
Savannah Kari [2021] 5-8 Outside/Defensive Specialist (HS: Colleyville Heritage/Club: Texas Image/ Verbal: Concordia University Texas)
Miss Kari is currently unranked in our Prep Dig State Rankings. She is a talented player from the North Texas area. She plays for Colleyville Heritage HS and also club for the Texas Image club program. She helped her varsity squad be extremely competitive and have a record of 16-8 overall and 10-4 in district. She contributed 98 digs and 17 aces as a defensive specialist this past season. She is an academic All State member for her squad and she also earned 6-5A Honorable Mention All District. She also lays outside hitter for Texas Image and has a cannon for an arm. She is able to paint the line with ease and also come around to hit second tempo set in the middle. She uses a strong upswing to help her create momentum for her approach. We are proud to announce that she just recently committed to play volleyball at Concordia University Texas. We at Prep Dig couldn’t be more proud of her accomplishments. Please help us congratulate her.
Hannah Webster [2021] 5-7 Middle/Outside (HS: Alvin/Club: Absolute Volleyball Academy/Verbal: Saint Joseph’s College of Maine)
Miss Webster is currently unranked in our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays for Alvin HS in a small area southeast of Houston and also club for AVA. She has been a solid contributor to the program’s success for the Yellow Jackets. This past season she was one of the many reasons they were able to go 18-9 overall and 9-5 in district. She has been able to accumulate 79 kills, a hitting percentage of .376, 48 blocks and 5 aces. She great part of this young lady is she is a multi-sport athlete who is going to be able to play both basketball and volleyball at the next level. She also played soccer while at Alvin HS. This kind of athleticism is a huge reason why she excels on the vball court. This young lady plays with a super high motor and is always ready to hit the middle quick attack. She reaches at the true peak of her jump and puts up a solid block against her opponents. We are proud to announce that she just recently signed to play volleyball and basketball at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dreams of playing sports at the next level.
Elizabeth Reed [2021] 5-9 Setter (HS: Frisco Memorial/Club: Texas Advantage/Verbal: Texas Women’s University)
Miss Reed is currently an unranked prospect according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She is a fantastic setter from the Frisco area. She plays for Memorial HS and club for the famed TAV program in the Dallas area. This past year on varsity she was able to help them be competitive with a 13-10 overall record and a 11-7 district record. Lizzy accumulated 649 assists, 22 aces, 301 digs, and also had 32 kills. This jump setting super athletic young lady is fun to watch fly around the court. Lizzy has a lot to like about her game. She moves very fluid on the court and runs a smooth offense by moving the ball around the court well. She can set every zone and tempo with ease and she will do wonders for her college program next season. She is a TGCA Academic All State member as she excels in the classroom as well as the court. We are excited that she made her college choice recently. She will continue that love for volleyball with Texas Women’s University next year and will impact their program immediately. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing volleyball at the next level.
