2022 Rankings Update: New additions

Our latest Class of 2022 rankings bring a lot of new names to the leaderboard. Over the last year, a lot of prospects on our Watch List have established themselves and rankings-worthy talent. Here’s a look at some new names that appear in our latest rankings. Kayla Giroux Kayla Giroux 6'1" | MB Flat Rock | 2022 State MI , MB Flat Rock/Michigan Elite Giroux has proven to be a blocking machine, but its her hitting ability that is really helping her climb the rankings. The 6’2” middle makes her debut on the rankings at 34, which is a big jump up in her first appearance. Quick feet and great length make her a player that could make another jump up the rankings over the next year. Janiah Jones Janiah Jones 6'1" | MB Marian | 2022 State MI , MB Marian/Team Detroit Jones makes an appearance in the rankings at 40. Jones is still a raw player that is working on developing her overall skills, but the talent is undeniably there. Standing 6’1”, Jones has the length to be a standout player. She’s getting great coaching to bring her game up another level and should be in line for a breakout 2021-22. Kenzie Delacher Kenzie Delacher 5'10" | S Rockford | 2022 State MI , S Rockford/FaR Out Delacher has been able to smoothly run the Rockford offense the past two prep seasons and helped the Rams make a big climb back in the state picture this past season. A coach’s player, Delacher has a great mind for the game and for bringing the best out of her teammates. She’s got natural leadership skills combined with standout athleticism. Delacher makes her debut in the rankings at 41. Elizabeth Adams Elizabeth Adams 6'0" | MB Clarkston | 2022 State MI , MB Clarkston/Legacy The 6’1” Adams comes into our rankings at 42. A vocal leader from the middle blocker position, Adams plays with a lot of fire and intensity on the court. She really raised her game during Clarkston’s postseason run and proved she can hang with the best middles in the state. As Legacy polishes up her edges, she is likely to become a dominant middle heading into her senior year. Sophia Sudzina Sophia Sudzina 5'10" | OH Notre Dame Prep | 2022 State MI , OH Notre Dame Prep/Michigan Elite Sudzina is part of a deep Notre Dame Prep roster, but she really brought the hammer during the 2020-21 prep season. She became a more consistent finisher and showed no fear as a 5’7” outside hitter going against much longer opponents. Sudzina can become a complete player as she works on her serving and passing. She finds herself 48th in our rankings with the potential to be much lower.
