<p>We have already looked at the <a href="https://prepdig.com/2021/04/2022-rankings-update-top-10-outside-hitters/">top 10 outside hitters</a> and <a href="https://prepdig.com/2021/04/2022-rankings-update-top-5-right-side-hitters/">top 5 right side hitters</a> in the latest <a href="https://prepdig.com/michigan/rankings/2022-rankings/">Class of 2022 rankings</a>. Now it's time to shift to the middle.</p>
<p>The Class of 2022 has a very strong group of middles that are sure to make an impact at the college level. Here's a look at the 10 who have put themselves above the rest.</p>
<p><strong> 1. [player_tooltip player_id="24870" first="Serena" last="Nyambio"], Detroit Country Day/Legacy: </strong>An absolutely explosive athlete, Nyambio (6'2”) can play above any of her opponents. The Michigan commit has fierce power, but has really added a lot of new facets to her game in the last year.</p>
<p><strong>2. [player_tooltip player_id="24851" first="Brooklyn" last="Conner"], Forest Hills Central/MVA: </strong>The 6'3” towering middle is headed to Clemson in 2022. She's a dominant force on offense and defense and has a reach of 8'2” and a jump of 10'3”. Conner isn't all size, as she combines it with quick instincts and athleticism.</p>

<p><strong>3. [player_tooltip player_id="24877" first="Sarah" last="Sylvester"], Marian/Michigan Elite: </strong>Sylvester made a lot of big strides in the last year. The 6'3” TCU commit really become an unstoppable force in Marian's run to a state title.</p>
<p><strong> 4. [player_tooltip player_id="24843" first="Cari" last="Bohm"], Ann Arbor Skyline/Legacy: </strong>Bohm really broke out in the last year after recovering from an injury. She's made the most of her time and proven to be much more than just a 6'4” frame. Bohm has a lot to offer Illinois when she arrives in 2022.</p>
<p><strong> 5. [player_tooltip player_id="60832" first="Amanda" last="Glanton"], Davison/Michigan Elite: </strong>Another sizable middle in this class, the 6'3” Glanton moves really well on the floor and has a good sense for where the ball is heading while on defense. Glanton has improved her finishing skills as well.</p>
<p><strong> 6. [player_tooltip player_id="24876" first="Emily" last="Struckmeyer"], Lowell/FaR Out: </strong>Struckmeyer saw an expanded role with Lowell this prep season and made the most of it. She's proven to be a reliable finisher and blocker and has the athleticism to make a lot of plays that other middles can't.</p>
<p><strong> 7. [player_tooltip player_id="60837" first="Ava" last="Young"], Rockford/FaR Out: </strong>Young showed a lot of improvement during the fall season and proved to be a big factor on offense and defense. She tallied over 100 blocks for Rockford despite facing some much bigger competition.</p>
<p><strong> 8. [player_tooltip player_id="91609" first="Leah" last="Rogers"], Hudsonville/FaR Out: </strong>Rogers has been someone that has drawn a lot of praise from her club staff. They really like her work ethic and willingness to improve. That should continue to take her far in the next 12 months.</p>
<p><strong> 9. [player_tooltip player_id="60835" first="Kyla" last="Wiersema"], Western Michigan Christian/Team Angle: </strong>Wiersema stands 6'0”, but she can play above the net with the tallest competitors. She's explosive and has a very quick reaction time.</p>
<p><strong> 10. [player_tooltip player_id="60840" first="Anika" last="Prisby"], Armada/Michigan Elite: </strong>Another 6'4” middle in this class, Prisby has a high ceiling because of her length. She is gaining more confidence, and as she continues to add new dynamics to her game, she could move up this rankings list a lot more.</p>
