DeWese made a big impact as a freshman for her Lake team during the high school season. The multi-sport athlete has good athleticism and is physical at the net. She has good size at 6’0 and a natural style in her ability to perform skills effectively and with ease. She has a big arm swing that can produce a lot of pace and as she looks most comfortable and in rhythm on the right side, she can also score from the left with good power.

As a freshman, Sigman was the primary offensive threat for her Springfield team. She averaged 3.2 kills per set with her best opportunities and effectiveness coming from the right side. She has good elevation and a big left arm swing that she can control in order to move the ball around. Her footwork is fluid on both sides of the court and if she can develop a bigger double-arm lift at the end of her approach pattern she will add elevation and balance in the air. She also contributed 2.4 blocks and 7.6 digs per match this past fall season.

Bigelow continues to grow her skill set and effectiveness as an attacker throughout the current club season competing for one of the best U15 teams in the country at NKYVC. She has contributed among the heavy arms on this team in helping them earn an Open-level bid to the upcoming Girls’ Junior National Championships later this summer. She has much more time to continue developing her arm in addition to other skills at the net to be an effective defender on the right pin. She has a lot of potential and should raise her stock going forward.

Dushane is a steady contributor on the floor and has a good skill foundation to be able to contribute in a variety of areas. She doesn’t have much wasted movement in her approach work as she gets her feet to the ball well to be able to take a healthy swing. She can swing from the left side, fill in the middle if needed, and currently plays a lot at opposite for a really good Elite 15 Black team. She is one to watch to see how she progresses going forward and if she can increase foot speed and elevation to be more of an impact at the net.

At just 5’7, Miranda has good momentum build and lift that allows her to use her aggressive left arm well. She can score from any location across the net and is relentless in her aggressiveness at the top of her jump. She shows good arm control to be able to challenge the block, hit through the gaps, and swing off speed. She took a fair amount of swings for her Medina team during the high school season and should see an uptick in her opportunities as she continues into her second season.
