- size, speed and physical presence
- volleyball IQ and experience
- success & achievements
These fresh faced prospects have at least one of these characteristics as they make their debut into the top 50 for the class of 2024.
#5 Maddy Dombeck Maddy Dombeck 5'7" | S Farmington | 2024 State MN – Farmington/Northern Lights (cover photo)
- The 5’7” setter proved despite her age she already has valuable experience playing at the varsity level. She was named to the All-Conference Honorable mention list this past season and managed over 200 assists in the short season. Now she plays for Lights 15-1. Her time with the club has helped her to perfect her setting repertoire. She gets to the ball with fast footing
#7 Paige Wagner Paige Wagner 6'3" | MB Lakeville South | 2024 State MN – Lakeville South / Northern Lights
- At 6’1” the middle hitter is hard to ignore. Over the last year we have really seen her develop her strength and confidence. Wagner first impressed us as a part of the Lakeville South varsity where she got . This club season we have see more versatility in her hits. Wagner and Wisconsin teammate, Reese Ptacek compliment one another and create a lot of space in the middle.
#17 Isabelle Torve Isabelle Torve 5'10" | S Orono | 2024 State MN – Orono/ Northern Lights
- Torve made the NL 15-1 too likely due to her physical strength as a setter. She’s an aggressive server who will be the center of Orono’s offense for the next several years.
# 23 Reis Baune Reis Baune 6'0" | OH Rosemount | 2024 State #181 Nation MN – Orono/ Northern Lights (cover photo)
- Another on the 15-1’s team for Lights, but the 5’11” pin hitter can easily be mistaken for a much older player. She demonstrates a strong understanding of the strategy behind hitting, making her one of their top offensive threats. Baune has the potential to be among the best blockers in this class.
#25 Lucille Larson Lucille Larson 5'5" | DS/L Northfield | 2024 State MN – Northfield/ Northern Lights
- Larson hasn’t seen as much varsity playing time as some of her peers but the fundamentally sound libero is used to being part of winning program. A prime example of how not being pulled up to an older team too early, allows for the player to develop. She understands her role as a defender and executes well under pressure.
#26 Taylor Miedema Taylor Miedema 5'10" | OH Southwest Christian | 2024 State MN – Southwest Christian/Northern Lights
#27 Meghan Roggenkamp – Rockford/MN Select
- On Select’s top team, Roggenkamp is a real competitor in the back row. Her aggressive style and physical presence helps establish a fast offense. Playing older teams doesn’t phase Meghan; she will make you a fan after only a few plays.
#29 Molly Klembarsky Molly Klembarsky 5'6" | DS/L Waconia | 2024 State MN – Waconia/ Northern Lights (cover photo)
- A promising defender who has had great success already at the national level with Northern Lights. In 2019 she was named as an All-American at nationals. This year she was placed on the 2’s team but not for lack of talent.
Other new players include: #30 Kiera O’Rouke – M1; #36 Anna Lockhardt Anna Lockhardt 5'9" | S Minnetonka | 2024 State MN – MN Select, #39 Grace Therrien Grace Therrien 5'8" | DS/L Buffalo | 2024 State MN – Buffalo/ MN Select
