Featuring a lot of talent from the East side of the state, Michigan Elite is working with a number of 2025 prospects that are finding their home position on the court this club season.
Here’s a closer look at four of Michigan Elite’s top young talents.
Isabelle Busignani – Outside Hitter
Busignani is a promising young outside that already has shown the skills to be a strong six-rotation player. She has the ability to finish at the net consistently with power or offspeed swings. He has shown a lot of ball control ability in the back row as well. Her commitment to working on her game has also been evident, becoming known as the “gym rat” on the team.
Ella Craggs – Outside Hitter
Another promising outside is the 5’9” Craggs who plays with a lot of quickness and explosion, especially in her defensive play. Craggs has proven to be one of the club’s most consistent passers, while also displaying a high level court IQ. As Craggs continues to grow and develop more confidence with her swing, she’s going to become a tough player to stop.
Gabrielle Babinski – Setter
Babinski stands 6’1” and recently converted to the setter position. While she has all the skills to be a strong hitter, her length and athleticism have allowed her to become a very promising setter. Babinski already has the instinctive blocking skills, but is now combining that with becoming a very physical setter. With her length and talent potential, Babinski could be a breakout star in the class.
Jessica Costlow – Middle Hitter/Libero/Outside
Costlow is listed at many positions because her skillset warrants playing anywhere on the floor. Just an overall great athlete with a great family background of talented volleyball players, Costlow is going to make an impact somewhere. This club season has seen her settle in more as a middle, using her smarts to score at will. However, her talents extend to the back row and she can be a great asset as a defender if needed.
