With all three weekends of the Mideast Qualifier behind us, we can now focus a little more on a team-by-team basis. Each of the next three articles talk about the class of ’24, and what players from which teams stood out to me. Today is Circle City’s 15-2’s day.

Mia Loyd Mia Loyd 5'6" | S Terre Haute South | 2024 State IN , 5-7, S, Terre Haute South HS

The glue that kept this team together to finish near the top 20 in the USA division was clearly the most athletic Circle had to offer against other bigger and stronger 1s teams from throughout the region and country. I especially liked Mia’s willingness to do the dirty work in order for her team to succeed. She can run a 5-1 with ease, takes up space on the block, and has nice hands that can set any tempo.

Madeline Lynch Madeline Lynch 6'0" | S Plainfield | 2024 State IN , 6-0, RS/S, Plainfield HS

I list both positions here because she played both at some time during the weekend. In a pinch, Madeline’s size can help her go get balls that are passed tightly and either put them away or set a teammate. Additionally, she’s terminal on the right pin, and can hammer with the best of them. This
