Continue ReadingThe offers for our wonderful Texas players keep coming. We love to see the pictures and news of these players as they are achieving their dreams. We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front. There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news. These young ladies have been hard at work during the high school volleyball season and have been also hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have made their decisions. Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.
Katarina Teahen [2021] 5-11 Middle (HS: Seven Lakes/Club: Texas Tornados / Verbal: George Mason University)
Miss Teahen is currently unranked in our Prep Dig State Rankings but that could change once we update the rankings this month. She is a talented middle from the Katy area. Katarina currently plays for Seven Lakes HS and also club for the Texas Tornados club program. She helped her varsity squad win the UIL 6A State Championship with an overall record of 25-1 and 11-1 in district. Over her two years on varsity she has contributed 17 digs, 86 blocks, and 76 kills on a great .361 hitting percentage. We are proud to announce that she just recently committed to play volleyball George Mason University. She has a picturesque upswing during her approach to attack out of the middle. It allows her to get up quick and explode on the ball. She is able to run all of the tempos on the entire middle route tree with precision. We think she will be an asset to George Mason as soon as she steps on campus. We at Prep Dig couldn’t be more proud of her accomplishments. Please help us congratulate her and wish her well on her volleyball journey.
Avery Cole [2021] 6-0 Outside (HS: Cedar Park/Club: Austin Skyline/Verbal: University of Louisiana at Monroe)
Miss Cole is currently unranked in our Prep Dig State Rankings but that will change once we update them this month. She plays for Cedar Park HS and also club for the amazing Austin Skyline program. She has been nothing short of spectacular in her two years on varsity at Cedar Park. This past season she was one of the many reasons they were able to go 14-7overall and 12-2 in district. Avery has amassed 527 kills on a wonderful hitting percentage of .257, had 137 blocks, 421 digs, and also 91 aces. I was able to watch Miss Cole practice this past week and she is a stud. She is extremely quick off of the ground and is able to attack with power from any pin in the front row and also out of the back row to score. We are proud to announce that she just recently signed to play volleyball at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dreams of playing sports at the next level. Stay tuned because we will be profiling her team this coming week in another series of articles.
Geneva Nedrow [2021] 5-7 Libero (HS: Vista Ridge/Club: Austin Skyline/Verbal: Southwestern University)
Miss Nedrow is currently unranked in our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays for Vista Ridge HS and also club for the amazing Austin Skyline program. Geneva has been stellar in the back row for Vista Ridge for the past three years on varsity. She has amassed 1631 digs, 79 aces and 1458 service receptions. I was able to watch her defensive intensity at a recent practice and was pleasantly surprised at her abilities on the court. We will share what we saw in a future article, however in the meantime, we are proud to announce that she just recently signed to play volleyball at Southwestern University. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dreams of playing sports at the next level. Stay tuned because we will be profiling her team this coming week in another series of articles.
