Multiple young high school volleyball players hailing from the 13th Region are expected to help lead teams during the upcoming 2021 prep season.
Here are four 2024 13th Region players on the rise.
Darcie Anderson (2024) is an outside hitter from Whitley County High School. Reliable, Anderson contributed for Whitley County throughout the 2020 high school volleyball season. Poised to take on a larger role as a sophomore, Anderson can hit effectively from both the front row and the back row.
Isabella Frost (2024) is a middle hitter from Knox Central High School. Athletic, Frost excels along the middle of the net. Frost, who uses quick attacks routinely, blocks well individually and with teammates and uses quick attacks on offense frequently.
Alyssa Mounce (2024) is an outside hitter from Lynn Camp High School. Consistent, Mounce is a productive player who excels from the left side of the net. Mounce possesses strong jumping ability and can deliver as a passer.
Aubrey Woolum (2024) is a versatile player from Barbourville High school. Woolum is capable of contributing from multiple positions regularly. Able to deliver in multiple categories, Woolum has shown the ability to be a productive hitter and digs and pursues well.
