360 Sports Academy is hosting their first annual HB See You Combine and Exposure camp in Chicago this weekend, June 4 through June 6, which gives athletes that come from different identities, neighborhoods and backgrounds to showcase their talents in front of college coaches. This combine is expecting over 60 athletes from the across the nation to attend in hopes of getting their name on coaches radars and putting their name out there and making sure that they go unnoticed.
The combine is expecting coaches from the range of D1 and D3 HBCU schools to be in house and running drills and matches with the attending athletes. Some colleges that are going to be in-house are Alabama A&M University, Central State University and Alabama State University.
I will be in attendance at this event, getting live coverage on the athletes that are attending in hopes and getting the insight on those athletes who typically overlooked and needing assistance in getting their names out there.
What stands out about this combine is this is one of the first combines to take place in Chicago and the country that works in the favor of communities and individuals that are typically overlooked in the recruiting process. This event provides an extended opportunity for more athletes in the urban areas that currently don’t have the necessary resources to be actively involved in the recruitment process.
