Here are four 2024 11th Region defensive players on the rise.
McKenna Hurst (2024) is a defensive specialist/setter from Lexington Christian Academy (LCA). Able to contribute both offensively and defensively, Hurst is a skilled passer. Hurst is versatile and has produced regularly as a back row hitter throughout her prep volleyball career.
Mia Telechbush Mia Telechbush DS/L Dunbar | 2024 State KY (2024) is a defensive specialist from Lafayette High School. Quick, Telechbush covers the floor extensively and makes solid decisions. Productive, Telechbush digs and pursues well consistently.
Kinley Verhoven (2024) is a defensive specialist from Tates Creek High School. Verhoven boasts solid back row and passing skills. Verhoven is quick-reacting and has displayed the ability to deliver in multiple categories for her high school volleyball team regularly.
