Top Flight 14 Psi, is one group that showed a bit more than them being beginners on the court and made an effort to hustle at all given moments and that is what you like to see when it comes to the younger girls. They made a great first impression and I am excited to continue to watch them develop into some elite star players when they get older.
Aaliyah Cage- #96
Cage is one of those athletes that catches your eye immediately when she is out on the court. Cage is tall and her ability to move is impressive. From her demeanor to her sportsmanship to her athletic abilities, Cage is already on her way to being an elite athlete. She has pretty solid form on her serves and she is consistent at the back line when it comes to securing serving aces. The one thing I noticed about Cage that made her stand out more is she seems like she can play all positions if necessary. She has great sets and sets at adequate heights that allows for a perfect kill to be set up. Now, when it comes to her swings, Cage is powerful. She times her approach to the set of the ball well and that is important for someone her age. She displays that she has a solid foundation and good fundamental skills.
Ali Bromm- #1
Bromm is another athlete that stood out to me, simply because of how powerful her swing was. With the skill set she has when it comes to working in a live play with a strong arm and her ability to incorporate that into the set that she was set up with works well together and shows the strong communication she has with her rotating setters. Bromm displays qualities to consider her a stock rising athlete, along with being a rising elite athlete. She has a long way to go to perfect her craft and I am excited to see what she has on store.
Aubree Young- #40
Young is a talented and well rounded DS and Libero. Young is very quick son her feet and her ability to shift direction and dive into the floor quickly is impressive. It shows that she is attentive and she has quick reflexes. Young gets into the floor, saving the ball from inches from hitting the floor. Her ball handling skills and defensive skills are very impressive to be in the 14’s group. Young is going to be one strong athlete that the rate she is going and she can definitely see herself developing into an elite athlete soon.
