The 17-14 finish by the Warriors from WAY up north may not have been the finish they wanted, but when you play the tough schedule that they play, you understand why. The IHSAA does not seed sectionals; every postseason is a blind draw. I, for one, always scheduled as tough as I could, since every team needs that pressure to deal with October and (hopefully) November. That being said, Bishop Noll graduated five, and in order to get past Andrean in their own sectional, they need to have solid replacements rising. Here’s who the Warriors have coming back.

’24, Isabella Garcia, 5-9 MB/RS

Although Miss Garcia lacks the traditional size a middle or right side might need, her athleticism more than makes up for it. She’ll be the top returning attacker and top blocker for a younger-than-average squad, and this GCVC-trained kid might be leaned upon to do more than your average big.
