Middle blocker Elise Hani and Nora Prophater will be at the USA Volleyball National Training Center in Anaheim, California, from July 18-23 working with approximately 170 other young players and developing their skills.
Experienced coaches will offer guidance and feedback and among them are Olympic medalist Tayyiba Haneef-Park and University of Washington Women’s Head Coach Keegan Cook.
Elise Hani – Middle Blocker – HS: Lake Washington – Club: Sudden Impact – 2022
One of the most intriguing prospects in the Evergreen State, Elise Hani is a 6’4” middle blocker who brings a lot of athleticism to the game. She’s also a centerpiece for her high school team Lake Washington. Hani is big and moves well, two skills that help her tremendously her offense and blocking. She can strongly benefit from the days of training in California to further improve her all-around game.
Nora Prophater – Middle Blocker – HS: Mercer Island – Club: Sudden Impact – 2025
Nora Prophater is one of the most exciting young prospects in the state of Washington. She doesn’t look like a class of 2025 player on the court as her game is extremely well-developed. Prophater already has good size at 5’11” and will certainly grow more over the next few years. She’s currently mostly used as a middle blocker but will likely at some point move full-time to the right, where she has great range to work with her left arm. She’s also a very good server and an active blocker at the net.
