These Oklahoma athletes have waited long enough to enjoy some recognition for being such great volleyball players. These young ladies are ready to take the court by storm now that high school volleyball is back on for a full season. They just finished their club seasons and we have some updates on how it went. We couldn’t be happier to give them kudos for their hard work as we announce their placement on the Prep Dig State Rankings List.
Avery Jones Avery Jones 5'4" | DS/L Broken Arrow | 2024 State OK [2024] 5-6 Libero (HS: Broken Arrow/Club: Ultimate Performance Volleyball/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Avery is currently ranked as the 8th overall prospect and also the 2nd best libero prospect in the 2024 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She is a solid defensive stopper for Broken Arrow High School and plays for one of the premier clubs in the state in Ultimate Performance Volleyball Club. When we watch liberos play, we take a long look at their lower body as it is one of the most important aspects of the position. Her balance is second to none when it comes to comparing to all of the liberos in her class. Miss Jones is a stud with her upper body also as she routinely digs hard driven balls out of the left back zone with ease. I love her ability to use emergency techniques so easily as a young player. This alone shows just how good she is now and how much better she will get over the next few years. We are excited to have her in the Oklahoma Prep Dig State Rankings. Please congratulate her on achieving the recognition of being named one of the top players in the state.
Josie Brady Josie Brady 6'1" | MB Oklahoma Christian | 2024 State OK [2024] 5-11 Middle (HS: Oklahoma Christian/Club: Oklahoma Charge/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Josie is currently ranked as our 9th best overall and the 3rd best middle prospect in the 2024 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays for Oklahoma Christian High School and also club volleyball for the awesome Oklahoma Charge program. This young lady is a flat out beast that is showing out against older competitors in high school. Her power is super strong and she is able to score at-will toward both the 1 and 5 zones on the court. Oklahoma Christian sets her some high tempo balls in the middle and she has time to see the block in front of her and power her way around the block. We think she has what it takes to stay atop the rankings especially since she is getting such great training with her club program. The moment her high school runs quicker sets with her out of the middle, her opponents better watch out. We are proud to have her in the Rankings and look forward to covering her. Please help us congratulate her on being one of the top players in the State of Oklahoma.
Kathrin Rowe Kathrin Rowe 5'7" | OH Edmond Memorial | 2024 State OK [2024] 5-7 Outside (HS: Edmond Memorial/Club: Oklahoma Peak Performance/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Kathrin is currently ranked as our 10th best overall and 4th best left side pin attacker prospect in the 2024 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays high school for Edmond Memorial and also club for the famous Oklahoma Peak Performance volleyball program. She may be a smaller left side when it comes to height, but this kid plays big. Don’t sleep on her size at all. Her Varsity squad loves to run her on inside sets and she gets up with authority to send them down with power. This kid isn’t afraid of anything on the court and plays like an upperclassman. She is playing against some great competition in the state and still scores in double digits. We think she has a great future in the sport and can definitely play at the next level if she continues on this path. We know that she is in good hands with OP2 to train at a high level. We are excited to have her in our Prep Dig Family and look forward to watching her sophomore season. Please help us congratulate her on the honor she just earned.
