Numerous high school volleyball players from Region are thriving in the latest campaign.
Here are four versatile Region 5 players on the rise.
Alex Jenkins is a sophomore setter/opposite/outside hitter for Elizabethtown High School. Quick, Jenkins covers the court extensively. Jenkins is an accurate passer who is a strong communicator and hits well from either side of the net regularly.
Chloe Simpson is a sophomore outside hitter/defensive specialist/libero for Green County High School. Simpson hits consistently from both the front row and the back row. A player with solid defensive skills, Simpson digs and pursues well.
Alexis Thomas is a junior setter/libero/outside hitter for Campbellsville High School. Thomas runs the offense efficiently and makes quick decisions on the court routinely. A player with a diverse skill set, Thomas possesses solid defensive skills.
Courtney Wilson is a junior setter/opposite for Nelson County High School. Athletic and agile, Wilson possesses solid jumping skills and can deliver from various parts of the court. A reliable passer, Wilson digs for quick attacks frequently.
