Smoke Valley
Smoke Valley is off to an 8-1 start to kick off their 2021 season, suffering their lone defeat at the hands of Nickerson. Abby Rose Abby Rose 6'0" | MB Smoky Valley | 2022 State KS is starting where she left off last year with 70 kills. She is getting help in the scoring department from Hope Duncan Hope Duncan 5'8" | DS/L Smoky Valley | 2024 State KS and Madi Tolle. Along with Rose and Duncan, Aubrey Boldra and Adrian Hazlewood have been solid defensively. Hazlewood is also averaging just under 9 assists per set early in the year.
Heritage Christian Academy
HCA was your McLouth Tournament Champions over the weekend and is now 7-0 on the year. Unfortunately, we do not have stats available however this roster features a few names we know from a strong club season in Cy Rae Campbell Cy Rae Campbell 5'11" | MB Heritage Christian | 2024 State #45 Nation KS and Rachel Van Gorp Rachel Van Gorp 5'9" | OH Heritage Christian | 2024 State #94 Nation KS .
Washburn Rural
4-0 to the start the year with some impressive wins over Missouri defending champ Liberty North and Kansas 5A contender St. James. They also haven’t updated stats but we know Kentucky pledge Brooke DeLeye is the real deal.
Hutchinson
The Salthawks are putting teams on notice with their 7-0 start this fall. Maliyah Johnson Maliyah Johnson 5'8" | OH Hutchinson | 2023 State KS is averaging just over 4 kills a set. Mya Thompson has contributed 44 kills and 13 aces. Kaitlyn Yoder is running the show and has dished out 153 assists thus far.
